Day one of HOW many? I hear you ask.
Yes, that's right, 30. For every day of June I will post one photo.
But why? you gasp. Don't you have children and a husband to feed, water and tend to? And books to read? And pretty things to make? And PLANTS to water?? Are you crazy?
Probably so. Probably so. But you see, I was just telling you all about my photography goal and how much I want to snap snap snap, practise practise practise. (You know, the one I mentioned here.) And then this challenge popped up. And could I resist? Absolutely not.
I will most definitely be continuing with Wordless Sunday, I'll just do that as well.
Oh yes, and I thought I would pose like I'm reading for this shot. Uh huh. Pose. I wasn't actually lounging on the bed reading all morning in the sun, as good as it looks. That is my intention for after 7pm when the babes are snug in their beds. I've gotta get reading because I have a book club meeting to attend! Yes, BOOK CLUB! I know. This one:
How long have I wanted to be a part of a book club? My. Entire. Life. So you must appreciate how giddy I am with excitement over this chance to live my dream. I hyperbolize. (Not really...eek!) So come on you booky bloggers, better get reading.

I might try to pose with a prop for my self portrait at the end of the month! Glad you like my choice for book club, can't wait to read it myself! xo (PS my self portrait is up...creative it is not, and I always look grumpy, but it's my natural expression! haha)

ReplyDeleteWow so pretty!! It's really lovely. I did one yesterday (as you know) and made an effort to try and do one with off camera flash (by myself at the domain no less!) today. I'm learning the flash thing so it's a good chance to practice. Anyhow it's much harder to do a real photo than a blurry one, and so hard to focus with nothing there!

ReplyDeleteThanks guys! I love your encouragement. I know, Meg, I had to stick a black pillow on the bed to focus the camera and then run and dive in to place before the 'beep beep beep'. Actually impossible to focus at the domain I imagine. Go you with the flash--I would not know where to start!
